Summer Interns Available

Are you looking for summer help?  WORKFORCE CENTRAL FLORIDA (WCF) will offer its Summer Job Connection program again in 2010, an employment program that will pay the wages of 750 disadvantaged young adults to work with local employers.  WCF will pay the wages of the young adults in the program, who will work 35 hours a week at $8.25 per hour for six weeks (about 100 participants will also work in a 11-week program in emerging industries). 

WCF is searching for non-profit and government organizations, as well as for-profit companies in  renewable/sustainable energy; photonics; optics; modeling and simulation; nanotechnology/nanoscience; digital media; green jobs; Internet securities; biotechnology; science, technology, engineering and math;  healthcare; health informatics and electronic health records to apply.
